Scanpole fencing posts

Benefits of wooden fence posts

Scanpole timber is preserved to the heartwood, meaning no other pine wood will last longer. Our impregnation methods provide several advantages compared to other treatments.

Fence posts go through 7 checks before they are delivered to customers

  • Sorting of logs
  • Selection of trees
  • Pre-treatment moisture check (<28%)
  • Incoming wood quality inspection
  • Quality control check
  • Preservative uptake testing
  • Preservative sapwood penetration test

Nordic wood

• Our high-quality fencing products are made in Kirkenaer, Norway.
• We use Scandinavian slow grown Scots pine in our products.
• Wood grows slower in Northern Europe.
• Slow grown means denser wood and higher quality.
• Denser wood means stronger fencing material.
