The UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has confirmed the continued approval of creosote-treated fencing posts for safety critical uses, specifically applications requiring compliance with BS8417 service factor D. The approval is valid until 31 March 2033.
Scanpole’s creosote-treated fencing products already fully comply with these requirements, meaning there is no impact on product availability, manufacturing, or deliveries to our UK customers.
